"Pipeline isn't about 'punishing' B.C., it's about what's in the national interest, Trudeau says"

My, how clever of the lad to have finally understood that.

The first part of the sentence is still a pointless bunch of words.

"Punishment" has no more to do with this project than the phase of the moon.

"National interest" says it all.

It's your job, Mr. Prime Minister, to act as though those words meant something.

Selling what we produce is how we make our nation's livelihood.

Here is a vast resource which has a vast market just waiting for Canada to make it available.

Of course, it should be done in the best, safest fashion - that goes without saying - but it should be done, full stop.

I'm beginning to really admire Premier Notley. God, you have to love her saying Alberta would buy the pipeline.

If she ever runs nationally, she's got my vote. That's how a leader should sound. Like Pierre.

That's a child's language, and a not well-informed child.

How about dirty old batteries?

How about dirty used electronic components?

How about dirty chemicals?

How about dirty agricultural practices?

How about dirty roads?

How about going back to the 18th century?
