"Disproportionate force feeds propaganda against Israel"
That is a truly cowardly and utterly inappropriate statement.
It is worse than that because it contains two carefully-phrased lies, like vicious Trojan viruses wrapped in a seemingly harmless download.
First, there was no “disproportionate force,” because the humanitarians on those boats used no force. None.
Their boats had been searched in Turkey. They contained no weapons whatsoever.
And if you read or hear about some of these people, you know they are genuine humanitarians and lovers of peace.
There can be no question of that except in the corrupt lies which come from Israel's Ministry of Propaganda and its lobby in North America.
Netanyahu’s slurs about “reports of gunfire” are about as low as it gets, using innuendo against a victim who cannot even answer, much like the attacks on the poor courier, Mr. Sheppard, by sympathizers of the well-connected Mr. Bryant who killed him in a set of behaviors that can only be called criminal by clear-thinking people.
Of course, those Bryant sympathizers and special pleaders included the Globe, didn’t they?
Propaganda against Israel? Where does one see that in these events?
You don’t need propaganda against someone who behaves like a savage. Facts are quite enough.
We’ve had half a century of word games from Israel and her apologists, all the motherhood load of peace and democracy.
The reality is half a century of war, illegal arrests, torture, assassinations, and abuse of millions of people. Israel has attacked every neighbor it has, some more than once. Israel spits in the face of the very country that subsidizes its existence. And Israel again and again shows contempt for the rule of international law, basic humanitarian decencies, institutions like the United Nations.
People must not let this ugly story hide the ghastly revelation that Israel was ready and willing to sell missiles and nuclear warheads to apartheid South Africa. Indeed, its current President led the way on that outrageous matter.

I just love the folks who use words like "staged" to describe this humanitarian catastrophe.
Nothing could better reveal the desperate thinking and lack of ethics trying to justify piracy and murder.
Indeed, nothing sounds more like the late master of lies and dissimulation, Joseph Goebbels.
When Germany attacked Poland in 1939, a group of prisoners were dressed in Polish uniforms and killed at the Polish border.
That was touted as the excuse for unleashing a blitzkrieg and rolling over a nation in six weeks.
Those people on that boat had all trained in peaceful resistance.
And even if some of them buckled in deadly fear, as scores of heavily armed men boarded their boat in the night, and raised fists or clubs, so what? Shooting a bunch of them is somehow okay?
They did nothing wrong. They were in international waters. They made, for weeks in advance, their totally peaceful intentions clear. Their cargo had been searched.
Israel only used those weeks to plan a way to smother their efforts.
No, the real problem with the brave souls on that boat was precisely that they were liberal-minded, decent supporters of human rights – the very kind of people most hated and reviled by Israel’s defenders as “lefties” or “terrorist sympathizers.”
They had to be shown who is boss, right? Just like the 400 children slaughtered in Gaza.
