NYT Laments ‘Forever
Wars’ Its Editorials Helped Create
The NYT has a totally consistent record of supporting wars
of aggression.
Check it out, and you won't find an exception.
But the NYT has another consistent record.
And that one concerns its many past abuses in reportage of
internal American events.
The game it has long played there is: go ahead, attack and
attempt to destroy someone or something, and then, afterwards, quietly admit
you may have made a mistake and you are setting the record straight.
It has followed that pattern many, many times - one of the
reasons I have zero respect for the paper as journalism.
