Philip Giraldi is nearly always good, and here he is especially so.
It's amazing when you think about it, all the time and effort and resources put into the advocacy of destruction.
Almost as though there's more money around than people know what to do with.
Just look at the ongoing, very expensive Monty Python skit America is producing in Venezuela.
Iran, a country which has not started any conflict in its modern history and which has kept its word faithfully on the nuclear deal, is literally hounded by people with resources determined to harm it.
You see, Israel, a country which has started conflicts with every neighbor that it has, some multiple times, and whose leader has an international reputation for not telling the truth if he an avoid it, just hates Iran.
And it cannot be repeated enough that it hates Iran not out of any fear of it, as it pretends, but simply because Israel wants center stage in the whole of the Mideast, and a very large and potentially wealthy country like Iran casts a long shadow.
The effort resembles almost primitive tribalism rather than the rational workings of a modern state.
But it enjoys a good deal of success because America's Government doesn't do rationality either, as we see in Venezuela, and its key leaders all have a relationship with the Israel Lobby – and by “Israel Lobby,” I mean not just AIPAC, that bestower of campaign funds and favors, but a whole family of American organizations including foundations and think tanks and publications and some extraordinarily wealthy individuals - much resembling that of Venezuela's Juan Guaidó with the CIA.
