Well, this is really silly.
Jimmy Kimmel might have called Trump's comments unfair or
lacking civility or any of a number of other descriptions.
But un-American?
There is no such thing.
Americans - and especially American politicians - bellow
stupidities and prejudices and words lacking civility every day.
The concept of "un-American" belongs to the naiveté
of early Superman comic books or to the unpleasant proceedings of the former
House Un-American Affairs Committee, the latter having been a public forum for
hate and lies for years.
See, there is nothing unusual about Trump in America because
even his critics speak nonsense.
