The historic sites destroyed by ISIS are said to have been destroyed to cover up the looting of antiquities.

It is easy to believe that is true.

Now, where else would thugs like ISIS "fence" (gangster language for selling known stolen goods at a discount) these treasures but in Turkey?

After all, Turkey makes their terrorism possible, and there is constant illicit traffic across that border.
