The one word, definitive answer to all of America's ghastly
efforts in Syria is "Israel."
Israel wants Assad gone and Syria weakened and broken up as
Iraq is.
So that becomes American policy.
Kill the best part of half a million, create millions of
refugees, and wreck a beautiful land just because Israel dislikes Assad.
