JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: NO-FOOD POLICY FOR THE "ROYAL WEDDING" - SEEMS FITTING ENOUGH TO ME CONSIDERING THE NATURE OF THE EVENT - THIS WILL BE ALMOST A PARODY OF A WEDDING AND ON A BIG SCALE

“Let them eat nothing: on this Harry, Meghan and Sajid Javid agree”

It does seem to me that the "no food" policy for the royal wedding is fitting.

After all, what's to celebrate here?

We have a prince who's demonstrated in public many times that he is unbalanced and has an almost complete lack of judgment.

And he is marrying an American B-actress who is past her prime for the kind of acting she does (a Glenda Jackson, she is not), and, who in any event would have to be insanely ambitious to seek a new place in the limelight at the cost of spending the rest of her days with Harry.

So, Britain adds another life-time hanger-on in high style at taxpayer expense.

Just a tremendously exciting event.
