We should not be concerned only about innocent civilian bystanders in America's industrial-scale extrajudicial killing program.
It is an extremely important point that the actual targets of the program are legally innocent people, having no trial, no rights, and no legal process of any description.
They just end up with their names on a "kill list," put there by some faceless people in the CIA.
The power of life and death handed over to a bunch of security service psychopaths.
Obama started the program and used to get the "kill lists" in his inbox to sign-off on, certainly a nightmarish practice of no genuine legal authority whatsoever. Trump has taken things a step further by doing away with his signing lists and telling CIA they should just decide who to kill.
If you know much about the CIA's past, you'll know it has made many costly mistakes as well as created ugly programs which involved hurting and killing some of their own citizens,
The Drone Program represents justice from gangsters, death from a Mafia family in the hills of Sicily, regardless of whether any bystanders are also killed.
