Very interesting article. Makes me want to read Perry's
book.
Knowledge, genuine knowledge, counts for surprisingly little
in an intense power center like Washington.
The only knowledge valued consistently is the knowledge
needed to build a new weapon.
The drive of the neo-cons for total dominance and their
eager willingness to use military power are to my mind the most destabilizing
fact on the planet.
