JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: HILLARY CLINTON ACCUSES TRUMP OF USING "BLATANTLY ANTI-SEMITIC" IMAGE - BUT HER WORDS ARE SO MINDLESS THEY SHOULD NOT EVEN BE REPORTED - A NOTE ON SIX-POINTED STARS AND THEIR USE IN ADVERTISING

COMMENT POSTED TO AN ARTICLE BY TIM WALKER IN THE INDEPENDENT

'blatantly anti-Semitic'

Oh, please, what an utterly ridiculous statement.

First, The Independent has already tried squeezing this lemon of a non-event, Trump’s Tweet image, for some juice.

Now, you try again, only putting the ghastly Hillary's name to it.

Would it be fair to conclude:

One, that you hate Trump;

Two, that you like Lucretia Borgia;

Three, that you just cannot get over the McCarthyite anti-Semitism theme you ran with so many times trying to smear a decent man named Jeremy Corbyn.

Anyone with an eye for graphics can see why a six-pointed star was used.

The copy placed at the center has probably twice the area that it would have in a five-pointed star of roughly the same size.

A six-pointed star has a large central rectangular area.

In addition, it is easy to find scores of examples using this geometric shape in advertising and art.

I'm sorry to shock readers, but six-pointed stars are not uniquely Jewish.
