“Iran's supreme leader makes uranium enrichment threat
“Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also reported to have said 'no one is seeking war'”
Iran has acted totally appropriately through this entire matter.
Suggesting that enrichment levels could change is only a reflection of the fact that America has destroyed the agreement and is now acting extremely harshly towards Iran, and it does this for no legitimate reason.
Since enrichment is what the agreement was all about in the first place, I don't see how anyone expects Iran to hold off indefinitely with terms of an agreement the US itself destroyed.
Of course, Iran is hoping to spur Europe into doing what it originally said it would do, protect Iran's economic interests against predatory American sanctions.
Europe promised that because it supports this valid agreement, so long as Iran sticks to the terms it has in fact always kept to, but Europe has not been successful so far, and Iran is suggesting what consequences could follow.
America's unwarranted attacks and threats on a so-far law-abiding Iran resemble greatly its ugly behavior in Venezuela. Just mindlessly destructive.

Response to another comment about Trump’s purposes:
Yes, and to gather big funding from special interest lobbies for the 2020 war chest.
Netanyahu viscerally hates Iran and will encourage any damage or punishment of it without regard for good sense and the danger of war.
Why does he so hate Iran? Not because it is any threat. It is not. Non-nuclear states do not attack nuclear ones. He hates it because he wants this huge country's regional influence diminished and Israel's put in its place.
A rather ridiculous expectation since Iran has ten times the population of Israel. Much like having Luxembourg tell Germany what to do in Europe. The "fear of Iran" thing is used as weapon to this end, and no one in the West has the courage to call Netanyahu on this empty, dangerous claim.

Response to a comment about events concerning Iran:
Unfortunately, that is about the sum of things.
You know, and it has gone unnoticed in our press, but absolutely no evidence has been provided of any actual tanker damage.
There's that one photo of a small bash at the rear bottom of one, something which easily might have been caused by colliding with a dock.
The business was investigated by a US military team, but that's like sending a fire investigator who starts fires rather than prevents them.
All extremely doubtful.
And dangerous, of course, with men like Bolton and Pompeo in charge. These men in every way parallel the kind of men who supported Germany’s efforts for war in the late 1930s.
