JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: WRITER SAYS AMERICA HAS LOST TOUCH WITH REALITY - YES, IT VERY MUCH HAS, BUT IT HAPPENED A LONG TIME AGO

“Nobody in Russia Takes Pompeo, or Trump, Seriously Anymore

"…a complete loss of touch with the reality" that puts the whole world in danger.

Yes, but America has suffered a loss of any sense of reality for years.

Trump, loudmouthed and lacking real intelligence and learning, is just the cherry on top of the cake, so to speak.

Just look at the Neocon Wars and all the human misery they've caused, and what was their purpose? To cause the birth of a "new Middle East."

Is it possible to imagine a more delusional purpose?

You kill a couple of million people, as the US has done in recent years, and create millions and millions of hopeless refugees, nearly destabilizing Europe, and leave chaos in your wake, as in Libya.

Yet it sticks to the goal, to the script, the unwarranted threats and pressures on Iran being the latest chapter in an insane piece of writing.

Destruction for the sake of destruction. I believe the psychiatrists have a name for the condition.

We are all damned to live with it because the US has, over its history since WWII, grown to dominate many global financial and economic institutions and because of the role of the dollar.

But an end is in sight, not soon, but the pattern is emerging clearly.

Without any doubt our next generation will see a multi-polar world emerge, fully functioning - that is, unless the US brings a catastrophe down on all of our heads, which unfortunately is a genuine possibility.
