I seriously dislike Trump, but quoting Obama on anything of
this nature shows frightening blindness.
Obama killed at least half a million people in his various
Mideast Wars, and he made millions homeless to become refugees, destabilizing
Europe.
He ruined some good countries, setting back the economic
lives of tens of millions for years to come.
Obama also created the large-scale American program of
extrajudicial killing, perhaps the most immoral program ever undertaken by that
country.
Obama approved the coup in Ukraine against a democratic
government and effectively is responsible for all that has followed.
Obama sent troops and planes and ships to Europe to
intimidate Russia and endanger all our lives.
Obama started highly aggressive naval behavior in the South
China Sea.
Obama approved the ugly CIA programs that have badly hurt
Venezuela and its elected government.
Obama in eight years never did a thing to improve the
horrible conditions of the Palestinians.
This is a man to quote on anything concerning international
affairs?

No, you have it very wrong.
We've gone from the superficial appearance of lucidity and
sanity to the clear appearance of its absence.
Apart from all the noises in the press, I'm not sure we've
gone anywhere.

Exactly.
Truth is that he was a monster in power, maybe a little less
than some others, but a monster nevertheless.
He kept his mouth shut and smiled and the press liked the
smile, as they liked his baritone voice that in fact never said much of real
importance.
His record is nothing less than eight years of bloodshed
abroad and nothing accomplished for his own people at home.
It really all does show what a bizarre shadowy stage play we
all are forced to live through by the press and our governments telling us what
is so clearly bad is in fact good.
