At last men are
joining our conversation about toxic masculinity
“Toxic masculinity”?
Please, this kind of phrase-making is just tiresome.
Men vary in their masculine attitudes and even physical
characteristics owing to inheritance.
And it is exactly the same for women.
Some are very delicate. Some are very muscular. Some have no
sex drive. Some have insatiable sex drives. Some are aggressive. Some are
passive. Some have little emotion. Some are emotional wrecks.
Just as some are blue-eyed or blond or tall or short.
We do not live in a human society that is in any way
"average" or "normal" or homogenized.
We live in one of endless human diversity. Nature endlessly
experiments with reproduction and evolution.
Christians used to believe that all humans were the same,
being only separated by the state of sin or saved.
It was a ridiculously childish view intended to promote
their religion.
Yet some of today’s millennials, greens, and professional
feminists really promote a new version of the same old Christian dogma. We are
all the same. We should all behave the same way. We should do this or that.
It is just a form of secular religion.
