early on by those who make an effort to keep informed.

Over several years, there were a number of clues and leaks.
Israeli and American-made arms caches dug up. Parachute deliveries observed and
videoed. No attacks on Israeli or Saudi interests, absolutely inconceivable for
genuine jihadis. The entire American Benghazi disaster which was really about
supplying arms and fighters from the ruins of Libya to Syria.
And if you simply analyzed what was happening with ISIS, it
became clear it was not a grassroots movement and that it very much had a
non-jihadi agenda set by others, the same people paying their salaries and
buying their pick-up trucks.
Someone once joked about ISIS standing for Israeli Security
Intelligence Service, and they really weren't far from the truth.
