Almost certainly, he was assassinated.

Kelly was a recognized expert who knew all the secrets about then-contemporary WMD.

Given his controversial comments with BBC around the invasion of Iraq, I believe other parties with something to hide decided he had to be silenced.

The most logical candidate: Israel, owing to its nuclear relationship with apartheid South Africa.

The fissile material from South Africa's small nuclear arsenal was taken somewhere following the collapse of the former government. It was not an event covered in the press. Indeed, South Africa’s arsenal was rarely mentioned.

Many observers believe that material went to Israel, under American auspices.

It would have been a logical disposition, given Israel's assistance in creating South Africa's small arsenal and given America’s long record of both overt and covert assistance to Israel.

Dr. Kelly knew for sure.

There are some very powerful testimonies as to why his "suicide" could not have been a suicide, but especially that of a woman who had worked with him and knew him well. She explained he could not possibly use the hand that held the weapon. He had a disability.
