I really do think the time has come, with Elizabeth's
passing, to pension-off this tiresome bunch.
Few even want Charles, but if the ancient idea of monarchy
means anything, it must include the concept of succession.
Diana's two boys are neither of them interesting in the
least. The one is a pleasant smiling boring man, and the other, Harry, is
clearly mentally off-balance as he has demonstrated so many times.
Why go on with a charade in the 21st century?
Pension the lot of them off, turn the palaces into public
museums, and put in place a President in the fashion of many European
parliamentary governments.
