JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: "DA VINCI'S" SALVATOR MUNDI PAINTING IS MISSING - AFTER MUSEUM QUESTIONS AROUND ITS AUTHENTICITY IT'S SAID TO BE ABOARD THE GIGANTIC YACHT OF SAUDI ARABIA'S BLOODY CROWN PRINCE, THE MAN WHO PAID NEARLY HALF-A-BILLION FOR IT

"You Won’t Believe Where A $450 Million DaVinci Painting “Vanished” To"

[It’s on board the Crown Prince’s Gigantic Yacht Apparently]

Anyone with a good eye might well harbor some suspicion about this picture, named “Salvator Mundi.”

It just does not have the impact of Da Vinci's small number of surviving paintings.

There is something very much missing from the face that one expects from a Da Vinci.

I have to think wishful thinking displaced judgment in purchasing it for such an immense amount, close to half a billion dollars.

I wonder will the charming Crown Prince, perhaps already having been embarrassed by questions around its authenticity at museums, have it cut into pieces and burnt, as he is known to have done in at least one other instance of embarrassment?
