I have no idea why this should surprise anyone.
Half of America’s special forces are bored psychopaths.
Violent young men sick of the strange, unpleasant place
they've been sent to. Heavily-armed young men without any understanding or
concern for the people who surround them.
Violent young men wanting some "action."
Honestly, over the years in Afghanistan, there have been
scores of reports of massacres by Americans. Ditto Iraq.
One of the items that so moved Chelsea Manning was indeed another
video, one from an American helicopter attacking a totally innocent and unarmed
man with its heavy machine gun, treating a real human being, desperately
scrambling to save his life from their vicious approach near the ground, like
an image in a computer game.
The pilots were cut from the same cloth as the CIA employees
who guide drones on computer screens to murder someone they know nothing about.
Computer games for psychopaths.
Just disgusting.
America, why do you send them?
Because you don’t give a damn about anyone else.
