“10 Democrats set for next debate as several others miss cut”
I just knew it.
The only candidate in the pack who is brave and informed enough to deal with such important matters as war and peace, Ms. Tulsi Gabbard, has been dropped.
Hers are issues never even discussed in America's corporate press or by its predictable, lobby-serving politicians.
The establishment hates people like her, and the American establishment very much includes the Democrats as well as the Republicans.
They are really two wings of the same Imperial War Party, each wing advocating different domestic social policies, policies which have zero chance of ever seeing the light of day in an America spending about a trillion dollars a year on wars and interventions and coups.
That figure includes costs like CIA and other security agencies (of which America has 17) in addition to the Pentagon. And it is all money America does not have. America doesn’t even have any loose change in its pockets, but that doesn't stop its reckless piling up of huge debts.
And for what? To bomb and to invade and to control.
Indeed, the Democrats since WWII have, if anything, been almost more of a war party than the Republicans. Truman in Korea. Johnson in Vietnam. Clinton in Serbia. Obama in Syria, Libya, and other places.
