JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: CANADA'S CBC NO BETTER THAN THE CORPORATE PRESS AT TELLING US ABOUT WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING IN THE WORLD

John Chuckman

COMMENT POSTED TO AN ARTICLE ON CBC NEWS

“Trump's foreign policy approach with Syria, Russia is a 'blunt tool'

“President's tweets contradict his own 'Trump Doctrine' on telegraphing military moves”

"Trump's way of approach to foreign policy carries risks"?

My, my, now who would ever have guessed that?

We need an "expert" to say that?

Anyway, I think you have things quite wrong.

This man isn't merely taking risks, calculated or not.

He is impulsive by nature, as we see in many examples - from his language habits to his known private behavior or to an extreme and impulsive policy step like moving America's embassy in Israel or hurling missiles into Syria - and he is not a man grounded either in knowledge or in principles.

And I do very much wish CBC would stop running things like the videos manufactured by the White Helmets. We have many reasons to believe they are carrying out a fraud. the former British Ambassador to Syria said so in an interview just recently on Radio Scotland. They are funded by Britain and the US and George Soros, whose NGOs appear to have often worked with CIA.

If you want to really know what is happening or has happened, you could try some old-fashioned on-the-spot reporting, something you simply do not do anymore.

Our press and broadcasting, in covering matters like this, are the ones taking risks, leaving all their readers or listeners uninformed about what is going on.
