“Yasser Murtaja
embodied the struggle of Gazans – desperate yet defiant
“The journalist died
on Friday’s march, having never seen anywhere else. Gaza’s Palestinians will continue
to fight for freedom”
Such brave people.
Such horror they have endured.
No one who looks at the reality of Gaza can see anything
other than a giant concentration camp, complete with automated machine-gun
towers, where not even adequate daily necessities are allowed in.
Israel has maintained this horrible situation for half a
century.
No rights, inadequate facilities, no ability to freely move
or even fish, people shot on a whim.
No ability to import needed building materials to rebuild
what Israeli bombs destroyed.
Even electricity supplies frequently are cut-off.
Three massacres, just under Netanyahu.
This is one of our world's most terrible crimes, but no
Western governments or press are ready to discuss or criticize what they
plainly see.
