“Lies are Washington's
chosen path to dominance”
I don't think it correct to say that lies are the chosen
path to dominance.
I think it rather works as follows.
Having chosen the goal of domination, all kinds of dark and
criminal activities just become part of what you do. After all, a questionable
goal seriously pursued will certainly soon involve questionable practices.
But you do not want to reveal these dark and even criminal
activities, either to your own people or to the world at large, which still
receive all your self-congratulatory rhetoric on rights and freedoms and rule
of law. So, it becomes necessary to lie.
The frequency and extent of the lies today are a pretty good
proxy measure for the amount of dark and criminal activity going on.
We only find out about some of the lies now owing to the
technology of the Internet, bringing everyone who cares to look to a press from
abroad, to independent journalists, and to free-minded observations and
speculations.
That's why, of course, Washington has gone after other
voices in the foreign press, such as RT, and why American
intelligence-connected hi-tech companies, like Google or Facebook, have begun
to silence voices on their services under the false cover notion of fake news.
