JOHN CHUCKMAN COMMENT: IS THIS THE FINAL OUTCOME OF THE SKRIPAL AFFAIR? FATHER AND DAUGHTER GO TO AMERICA WITH IDENTITY CHANGE? - WAS THE PURPOSE OF THIS BRITISH FRAUD TO HELP PREPARE THE GROUND FOR U.S. ATTACK ON SYRIA?

COMMENT POSTED TO AN ARTICLE IN RUSSIA INSIDER

“CIA & MI6 to Relocate Skripals to America, Give Them New Identities: Report
“They can't be allowed to tell the real story. In all likelihood they are being offered obscene sums of money to accept silence and relocation”

Well, if the report is accurate, this would just be the icing on the cake, wouldn't it?

A totally fabricated event, many of whose details have already come unraveled in public, is to be preserved from complete public discovery by shipping the "victims" off to America, pockets bulging with money and gifts.

Of course, the story of the Skripal Affair, so obviously faked, has the potential to bring down the British government.

And it would only be appropriate if the government did fall, with the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, and the Defense Minister all having lied in public and made completely unsupported accusations of attempted murder.

This story of a possible offer of American "witness protection" for the Skripals is very plausible, and it will be interesting to see where it goes.

I recall the sad case of the Cuban boy, Elian, trapped in a bureaucratic and political nightmare in the United States during the Clinton administration. His father from Cuba came to get him and take him home. The United States made immense efforts to bribe the father to remain in the United States, hoping for a diplomatic “victory” over Cuba, but he refused and took his boy home.

I don't know about the father in the Skipal Affair, Sergei, who may be quite content with such an arrangement for various reasons.

But his daughter, Yulia, may be quite a different case, having, by all accounts, a fairly complete life back in Russia with a job, friends, relatives, and a boyfriend.

Response to a comment, “This is to keep the UK from poisoning them again”:

While it is certainly possible, I doubt the UK poisoned them.

A Fentanyl overdose was suspected by the EMR on the scene, in Salisbury. It is a common-enough event these days, there and in other Western cities.

Another very plausible possibility is shellfish poisoning at the pizza restaurant where they ate.

UK security just took opportunistic advantage in either case.

A key fact is the time interval of the couple’s movements. It completely precludes nerve agent poisoning.

So, too, does the death of their pets. All would have been stricken by nerve agent and their bodies would prove it.

But the pets were cremated by UK authorities, having died of lack of water after police stupidly sealed off the house. No evidence then exists of poisoning.

The pattern in this kind of dishonest stage play very much resembles the pattern of claims of Syria's using chemical weapons, something which appears to have been faked several times in an effort to provide the United States with an excuse to bomb Assad.

Perhaps, the whole Skripal affair was in preparation of public opinion for the next effort in Syria, which we have now very much had.

AFTERNOTE:
At this writing, Yulia has been discharged from the hospital, but no one appears able to see or interview her.
