Yes, indeed, Bolton is a lunatic. Many have known this for
years.
So why did the Great Orange One appoint him?
It does seem exceedingly clear that in an overwhelming
number of his appointments, Trump has proved that he is not what he claimed he
was in his campaign – appointments like Bolton, Pompeo, Haley, Haspel, etc,
etc.
So, he is either a thoroughgoing liar or a coward (who has
buckled completely to others behind the scenes).
Whichever is the case, he's a disaster as President.
