I don't find this analysis at all convincing.

And, actually, I find it lacking in any sense of ethics.

The Syrian horror is Netanyahu's baby, just as the invasion of Iraq belonged to Ariel Sharon.

And Iran is a genuine threat to no one. It has attacked no one in its modern history, but it sure has been threatened by Israel.

Netanyahu, a while back, spent millions to plan and prepare an Iran attack. Finally, he realized it could not succeed with Israel alone.

Israel also has attacked every neighbor that it has, some several times, and sometimes using horrific measures such as a million cluster-bomb bomblets dropped on the Lebanese border.

And of course, Lebanon has never attacked Israel, but it has been invaded several times and had part of its territory long occupied. There was also the atrocious Israeli shelling of Lebanon's capital.

Netanyahu, just in the horrible situation deliberately maintained in Gaza, has conducted three massacres.

Who is the real danger to peace and stability?

There is simply no question.
